In August 2022, Soho Estates began the installation of two new advertising screens at Leicester Square, which went live in December. Operated by Global, the screens have created new opportunities for advertising in a historic and busy part of London, often known for its film premieres and cinemas.
The screens, built by Daktronics and installed by Triwonder Digital, are located on either side of the Burger King on the northeast corner of Leicester Square. In addition to displaying commercial advertisements, screen time is provided free of charge to charities and local independent businesses.
